Their curry sandwiches were so good, nice interior and our food came out so fast. Workers and owner were all super nice, we will definitely come back.

Very Solid Katsu Sandwich Spot. OG Katsu Sandwich, Habanero Pesto Sandwich, Bacon Avocado Sandwich and WTF Fries are all must trys. They make everything fresh and every sandwich has its own unique homemade sauce. This is a family owned business and the owners are great. Make sure to check them out.

For all the katsu enthusiasts, Mr. Katsu serves some of the most delicious and largest katsu sandwiches in OC! The casual eatery has a simple but varied menu that features 11 different Asian-fusion sandwiches. Per the shop owner's recommendation, we got the KFB and crispy potstickers to accompany our meal. And the undeniable standout--The Teriyaki Chicken Sandwich! It was the largest sandwich I've eaten in a hot minute and super juicy, flavorful, and crispy The owner, Claire, let us know that everything is made from scratch and made to order (never frozen)!! Which is super impressive and speaks to the quality of food they serve.

Where to start.. I never leave reviews on Yelp, but I figured this place deserved it! My girl recommended this place so we decided to get it for dinner, and needless to say.. I was NOT disappointed! We got the OG, and Katsu Curry sandwich combos with fries and puffs, and their churro French toast.. and MY GOD.. it was all so delicious! But I can't say enough about the curry itself! You can def taste the love that goes into it! Probably some of my favorite curry I've ever tasted! Also, shout out to their employee, Jayden! I told him it was my first time there and he definitely steered us in the right direction with options and sauces! Seriously 10/10! Would recommend!

I can't get enough of the habanero pesto sandwich at Mr. Katsu! It's been my go-to ever since I first tried it years ago, and it never disappoints. Each bite is packed with deliciousness. This time around, I also tried their potato balls, and they were a delightful surprise! The creamy mashed potato filling encased in a crispy fried crust was perfection. It's the kind of comfort food that leaves you craving more. Mr. Katsu is tucked away in a humble plaza, but don't let its unassuming exterior fool you. Inside, you'll find some of the best sandwiches and snacks around. Plus, they offer a free fountain drink when you check in - what's not to love? Whether you're a longtime fan or a first-time visitor, I highly recommend stopping by Mr. Katsu for delicious food that you won't forget!

Really good katsu! My friend and I came here for a study break since we were at a tea shop nearby, and were so glad we did. We were the only customers in the shop at the time, and the restaurant itself was very clean and quiet. My friend and I both got the classic katsu sandwich which comes with a pork cutlet catsu, slaw, and sauce on their brioche bread. My friend and I made both of our sandwiches a combo, which came with a drink and potato puffs (all pictured). The sandwich was delicious and the potato puffs were the bomb! However, I do wish the bread was not brioche as it was quite heavy in itself and took a lot of the flavor away from the katsu. My only downside with this restaurant was the location. The restaurant is located right next to a sports bar, so the parking lot got pretty rowdy. Despite this, I would definitely be back when I'm in the area and would definitely recommend this restaurant for those looking for a katsu fix!
